JoeTabiri has spent 3 years with Protec and now the
hard work has paid off with a
two year professional contract at Barnet FC. Joe has
been one of our most
exemplary lads leaving to become a pro with a full
set of top academic
qualifications as well. Our second is Protec's
youngest ever professional
signing Elliott Charles has been at Protec for two
years played at all
levels in his second year to earn a full time 3 year
contract with Barnet FC.
Well done to both from all at the academy.
Barnet Protec are currently recruiting
players for age groups under 13, 14,15 and under 16 for
season 2008-2009.
Trials will take place on Saturday
mornings throughout May 2008 at our Hertfordshire
base.
Players and their parents must be prepared
to travel to the venue.
Potential candidates will need to complete
an online application on the Protec website
before attending any trial.
Our current under 16's team have recently
won the Mid Herts Premier League Trophy on Sunday
20th April 2008 and they will be proudly parading
the Cup at half-time during Barnet F.C.'s home match
on Saturday 26th April 2008 against Stockport County.
Our current under 14's have also had a
promising season in their first season in
their respective age group in the Mid Herts Premier
Division.
We are now creating an under 15's team for
season 2008-2009 to complement our existing under
14's squad.
Standards are high at Protec but our teams
have produced a high ratio of players who have
progressed and signed on for Premiership and
Championship Clubs.
Protec

sealed the sides 1 - 0 win, the team made up of all
Protec academy players have now taken their home
unbeaten run to six this season. Well done to all keep
up the good work.
