The boys from Barnet travelled to Welwyn,
on a pitch that was made worse from all the
rain over the weekend. But all credit to our
boys who battled well against a strong
physical team. We played the more controlled
football ,moving the ball well on a ripped up
pitch, and started to control the game. Our
1st goal came from Ryan Marsh who struggled
off there defender and rounded there goalie
to cooly slot the ball home. 1-0 at half
time 10 min into the 2nd half a stunning
strike from Emmanuel from outside the area,
2-0 up, we then had plenty of chances to put
the game out of reach of our opponents, but
then they pulled a goal back with a cracking
strike. The game was turning within 15 mins
later they scored again another cracking
strike from the same position. We started to
attack again and should of won it near the
end hitting the post from a corner, summary
the boys battled well, more clinical
finishing we would of won. Well done to Charlie
Ball winning crucial headers and to our other
defenders Tosin, James and Peter, and midfielders
Mathew and Emmanuel for battling for all the game.

Once again another comfortable cup win by the boy's 14-0; Congratulations to Tosin, Terence and Bryn all 3 scored hat tricks!

Well done to all the other scorers, Charlie great header!! Yet again we had a fine performance from the midfield, Jack and Brett played great roles in midfield supplying today's strikers with great through balls; Keeper Ryan untested due to the strength of the defence, Half time score 7-0.

Great runs down both wings by Matthew and Stavros, they really tested the opposing midfield and defence, Good effort!

Today's team was moved around with a few players missing and was a great test of character and performance by all; Once again we held our shape and proved that we can move the ball around with comfort and ease, Full time score 14-0.

We now await the draw and look forward to our match against Hitchin next week, once again well done to you all, great display and good luck in the league next week........

Well Done to Barnet U14s, they are currently sitting in the top half of the league due to a great all round performance by the boys!

In the first minute of the game Keeper Ryan Clarke made an excellent save and had very little to do after that, the game got off to a good start with 2 goals from Bryn Edwards and a great solo run from Ryan Marsh, the boys went in at half time with a 3-0 lead. The second half was equally exciting with a great run by Matthew N taking on 5 of the opposing team; the second half also brought more goals for the boys with another goal from Bryn, giving him a hat-trick; there was one more goal for Ryan Marsh and one a piece for James F and Tosin A, in the dying seconds of the game Hertford were given a consolation penalty, keeper Ryan Clarke went the right way and was unfortunate not to get to it! So with literally the last kick of the game Hertford put the ball in the net. The 2 Generals Charlie Ball and James F absorbed everything that was thrown at them, a comfortable game for them.

Altogether the team showed good passing ability and tackling and a great effort by all, 7-1 job well done!

Barnet Protec u14's get off to a flying start with a 5 - 1 win over Bury Rangers. Two goals from Bryn Edwards, Ryan Marsh , Clayon and Jack Hare all getting one each. Well done..
